Arabic To English

This week the Grade five students were working on a conversation piece for their assessment. The students were able to read the text and from reading the text, students can recognise some of the names of countries in both Arabic and English. Part of the assessment is to see if the students are able to translate the whole conversation from Arabic to English dialogue.

Students are also trying to write their own stories in Arabic and then translate it into English. This will help and build both their Arabic, and English vocabulary, spelling, oral speech and written language similar to the language used in the Quran.
